But here are a few pictures when I went freeskiing with a friend of mine (Andi). It was a really great day with the perfect amount of snow.
The week before, we tested or Avalanche Airbag Systems. When you get into an avalanche you pull a string on a special (and very expensive) backpack and then two balloons are (hopefully) filled with gas. Because of the balloons you can "swim" on top of the avalanche and can be saved much faster. It is compulsory to test the system, here is the video:
And here are some more news: FINALLY SOMEBODY GAVE ME AN INTERNSHIP! ;-)
In the middle of February (I think the 18th), I will start my internship at the sinfonic orchestra of the SWR (a German Radio Channel) in Freiburg/Germany. I will work there in the management team and prepare the trips and tournees (is that an english word?) of the orchestra.
The decision between two internships was not easy but now I am really excited to move to Freiburg. Now I have to search for a room or a flat - not easy because I think I have no more free days until then. But I hope somehow everything will be all right. So hopefully next week you will see pictures of the little kids. I think then they will be from the Netherlands or from Denmark, then I could also try my many Swedish words HAHA!
Liebe Grüße an Euch alle - Cheers to all of you! Katrin
